The chalet is something really special. As you approach, the property shines like a beacon of warmth and comfort, against its snowy backdrop.
Set in its own grounds, close to the centre of Meribel, the chalet is the perfect mix of contemporary and traditional. While the technology is all achingly modern, the décor is comfortable and traditional.
The designer, Stephane Couyoumdijan, has paired beautiful, rich wood panelling and simply chosen soft furnishings to create a luxury property with a home-from-home feel about it.
The light and space in the property are something to behold. Children will love the large amount of room available to them and adults will appreciate having generous shared areas as well as large bedrooms that make a very comfortable and appealing place to retreat to occasionally.
The master bedroom occupies the entire top floor, while the other five bedrooms are each individually designed, so they all have something special about them. Simple, sleek furnishings and quirky accessories bring a unique feel.
This look is continued in the shared spaces, where designer chairs sit comfortably next to a striking slate table and contemporary objects d’arts give an edge to the warm and welcoming soft furnishings in the main living space.
Children and teens will be kept well occupied by the cinema room and playroom, which is kitted out with TV, DVD, Wii and Playstation. There’ll be no fights for the remote with this many options on offer.

Helpful Review 2It it close to the main lift and ski rental shop so no more worries about clomping around the streets in boots or complicated meeting arrangements.
The finish is top notch, presumably to the taste and standards of the owner themselves.
There is a proper chef who cooked things I’ve never had before, “interpretations” of local cuisine, for example.
We had perfect now so it’s put me in a good mood but, nonetheless, I hope to be able to rent it again.
For others: we rented a car at Geneva and just parked outside the front door. 1/3 price of taxi.
